Black Diamond's Speed 40 rucksack is the alpine pack. Light, essential but capable to adapt to all the conditions: when you need it is able to take all the equipments you need, and when it is empty it can be nicely compressed keeping all the nice functions. Very practical and comfortable for serious alpine attacks.

Maybe the SwingArm harness system is not very effective with the pack full, but it works properly with a lighter pack.
